Zooshop

Zooshop opening hours:
- April – September: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- March, October: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- November – February: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Luggage Storage and Other Facilities
At the zoo entrance, just past the ticket offices on the left-hand side, you will find small and large lockers for luggage storage. Baby changing tables are available in the restrooms behind the Big Cats Pavilion and near the gazebo in the Bird Valley.
Transport within the Zoo
Electric buses
During the main season (March – October), visitors can enjoy a sightseeing ride on the safari bus. It operates from the square near the bear enclosure to the hill with the rhinos, to the Carpathian Forest with the European bison, or around the entire zoo.

Pony Rides
During the summer season and in good weather, children can enjoy pony rides daily from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The rides take place at the upper playground behind the Flamingo snack bar.

Refreshments at the Zoo
There are three snack bars with outdoor seating located throughout the zoo, as well as several seasonal food trucks. All snack bars are open throughout the summer season. During the winter season, at least one snack bar is always open. Drinking fountains and beverage vending machines are also available in the zoo.
Children’s Playgrounds
The zoo features two playgrounds for younger and older children. You will find climbing frames, a zip line, rope swings, a rain garden, and other fun attractions.
