Adopt an Animal

Help that makes sense - adopt an animal at the zoo and you will help a specific animal and the general development of our zoo as well. Thank you.

One of the most important mission of zoos is the rescue of endangered species of animals. Some of them have almost completely disappeared from nature due to human expansionism and survive only under human care. Our zoo cares many of the endangered species and offers visitors and the public the opportunity to get involved in helping and support animal care through sponsorship.

Become adoptive parents of our animals.
Don't worry, you won't have our hippo in the bathtub at home or a python in your closet :) the adoption is symbolic. You can even give adoption as a gift to your loved ones or friends.

Your contribution will help us to fund the care of animals, improvements of their facilities, better enrichment, their quality of life and development of our zoo in general.

What will you get?

• A nice gift certificate
• Name or company name on the name tag of the adoptive parents at the animal's enclosure (with a minimum donation value of €100 for individuals and €500 for companies and groups)
• Your name will be published as a sponsor in the list on the animal's card on the website (after your approval)
