Summer at the ZOO

Come for a walk at the zoo. A beautiful green area with a pleasant climate and animals enjoying the sun to the fullest awaits you.
We are open every day, even on holidays and non-working days.

Guided feedings – every Saturday and Sunday and during the holidays, we invite you to our popular guided feeding sessions, where you can learn many fascinating facts from the animal world. Our keepers will share insights into the animals’ natural behavior, diet, life in the wild, as well as behind-the-scenes stories from their everyday care.
From June 1st and throughout the summer holidays, we have prepared commented feedings at the zoo for you every day, whether it is Monday or Sunday.

Outdoor enclosures – chimpanzees, orangutans, jaguars, leopards, lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, pygmy hippos and capybaras, you can observe them in their outdoor enclosures.

Carpathian Forest – animals are most active during this time of year. You can peacefully observe lynx, wolves, European bison, deer, and mouflon in their natural environment.

Farmyard – sheep and goats in a contact meadow, which you can pet and feed with granules from a nearby vending machine.

New inhabitants of the zoo – new young pair of lynx, new female South African lion - Leia the lioness, young capybaras, new bird species and more to come soon.

Adorable cubs – takin, camel, zebra, llama, addax, urzon, kulan and ibex.

For your best zoo experience, we’ve got: luggage storage, buffets, drink machines and drinking water fountains, water playground for kids, sunscreen, Zooshop and Safari buses. 

The zoo is open daily until 7:00 PM, indoor enclosures until 6:30 PM, last entry is at 6:00 PM.

Easily reachable by public transport and bike routes.
