Location Common raven

The common raven is the largest of the ravens and the largest songbird. It is widespread throughout most of the northern hemisphere. It forms long lasting bonds, monogamous pairs. Especially in captivity, the common raven is very intolerable, it may kill a weaker individual even of its own species.

Its bird nesting season begins in February or March. Female builds and fixes the nest and male brings the nest building material. The brooding responsibility is mainly left to female, male rarely participates in it, although they both feed their offspring. The rearing period for hatched chicks is about 41 days long.
