Location Kafue lechwe

Lechwe belong to medium-sized antelopes. Coat varies in colour with subspecies. Kafue lechwe has red-brown colour with white underparts, throat, and facial markings. Males darken with age. The horns are 45 - 92 cm long and are relatively thin. While lechwe do not have scent glands, their coats are greasy and have a distinct odor.
