Location Przewalski´s wild horse

The Przewalski's horse is the only true wild horse originating from Mongolia, but in the wild, it was extinct by the late 1960s and early 1970s. It has been partially reintroduced into the wild only through reintroduction rescue programs, involving zoological gardens. The Przewalski's horse has never been successfully domesticated and cannot be used for riding or transporting goods. Compared to domestic horses, it has relatively short legs, a short upright mane, and a dark stripe along its back. Its tan fur colour helps it blend into grassland and desert landscapes.
