Halloween Weekend at the ZOO
Bratislava Zoo invites everyone to an autumn weekend full of fun and experiences, happening from Friday, October 24th to Sunday, October 26th. Every afternoon from 3:00 PM, the zoo will turn into a cozy place filled with lights, pumpkins, and creative autumn vibes.
The weekend program kicks off each day at 3:00 PM with pumpkin carving at the playground next to the Flamingo food stand. Kids and adults can make their own autumn decorations inspired by zoo animals.
At 4:30 PM, everyone will join a magical lantern walk through the Carpathian Forest all the way to the wolf enclosure. The path will be lit with lanterns, filled with music, and the lovely smell of autumn will be in the air.
On Sunday at 3:30 PM, the program gets an extra treat — a special storytime for kids by The Girl Without a Weasel, who’ll share a fairy tale full of humor, imagination, and a sweet message.
Throughout the weekend, there’ll be music, crafts, blankets to keep you warm, and of course, commented animal feedings.

Important Info for Visitors
- Lanterns can be bought at the Zoo Shop, but only LED lights are allowed.
- The number of pumpkins is limited – you can bring your own! After the event, the pumpkins will be given to the animals as treats.
- Please bring your own carving tools.
